Summary

The objectives of the On Shore Power Supply in the Nordic Region project are to provide a situation analysis of the existing cold ironing infrastructure in the Nordic Region and to undertake a SWOT analysis on the possible implementation of cold ironing.

Finally, the project consortium was tasked to provide conclusions and recommendations for the way forward and to facilitate sharing of learnings and knowledge through dissemination. The consortium decided to meet this obligation by organising an international conference at the highest political level, including minister participation. This conference was held 17 September 2021.
